We see early childhood education as skilled, intellectual and relational work. We do not reduce it to routines or compliance. We honour it as a profession. Working with children is a privilege. We look for people who feel that in their bones — not just on their application.

Early Career Teacher positions are paid above award. We believe the work warrants it.

Paid training

Child protection, first aid, CPR and supervision training — all paid, all annual. No out-of-pocket expense for mandatory requirements.

Programming time

Additional non-contact time allocated to all educators for programming, documentation and designated roles.

Studio budgets

Individual studio resource budgets — you choose what goes into your space based on what your children actually need.

Dedicated professional development budget

To support our educators in expanding their skills.

We hire for character as much as qualifications

Credentials matter — and every educator at The Learning Garden holds relevant qualifications. But what we look for first is harder to teach.
