Credentials matter. Every educator at The Learning Garden holds a relevant qualification and participates in ongoing professional development.
But what we look for first is harder to teach: genuine curiosity about children, the ability to listen carefully, and the courage to reflect honestly on their own practice.

All educators hold Working with Children blue cards, relevant Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) qualifications, and maintain current first aid, CPR and child protection certifications.

Our team engages in regular professional learning, collaborative planning and honest reflection on practice, not just compliance training.

Angela leads the day to day operations of the centre through strong, respectful relationships, creating a culture where educators feel supported, valued and confident in their practice. She works alongside her team to guide practice, strengthen routines and uphold consistency, ensuring children feel safe, secure and able to thrive.
At the heart of her role is a deep connection to families and the wider community. Through open communication, trust and genuine partnership, she ensures the service remains responsive, inclusive and reflective of the community it serves — so every child and family feels a sense of belonging from the moment they walk through the door.
Chloe
Role: Educational Leader

Chloe was drawn to early childhood education through their own experience of teachers who made them feel safe, valued and seen, and has built their practice around offering that same sense of care and belonging to others.
Their leadership is grounded in curiosity, weaving together the voices of children, educators and families to shape a pedagogy that is always evolving. With a deep focus on playwork and connection to Country, they advocate for environments where children's agency, culture and curiosity are genuinely respected, and where every child's voice is heard.

She is passionate about supporting educators to move beyond compliance-driven narratives and towards practices that genuinely honour play.
As Pedagogical Leader, Emma works alongside educators to build knowledge, confidence and consistency in high quality practice. Through a culture of curiosity and reflection, she stretches thinking and deepens understanding — ensuring every child has access to rich, responsive early education experiences.
Ash
Role: Area Manager
Qualifications: Diploma Children’s Services

Ash brings extensive experience in early childhood education and care, having started her journey as a trainee and progressed through a variety of roles across the sector. This hands-on experience has given her a strong understanding of what it takes to create high quality learning environments where children, families and educators can thrive.
In her role, she provides leadership and support to services across Queensland — maintaining high standards, supporting professional development and fostering positive workplace cultures. Driven by experience, empathy and a commitment to quality outcomes, she works closely with teams and families to ensure every service delivers safe, nurturing and inspiring environments for every child.
